WIT Lean Enterprise Excellence Forum

On 09/05/2019 WIT will host it’s 7th Annual Lean Enterprise Excellence Forum. This is an industry-academia conference that focuses on best practices and cutting-edge developments in Lean enterprise, operational and process excellence, Lean Thinking and practices and Continuous Improvement. It will be of interest to organisations of all sizes and from all sectors that have adopted or will adopt Lean thinking and practices to enable and sustain competitiveness in national and global marketplaces. The conference provides a wonderful opportunity for industry practitioners to network, to exchange knowledge about their experiences and learnings, and to participate in presentations and breakout sessions delivered by subject matter experts and experienced Lean practitioners.

Jones Engineering will be represented at this event by two of their Lean Black Belts. Ray Curley will be giving an Introduction to Lean in Jones Engineering and Paul Harding will be speaking on a subject he is basing his thesis on as he completes his masters degree in UL in Programme and Project Management. Paul’s presentation is entitled, “Implementing Lean in a Large Construction Organisation, What Obstacles Do We Meet?” and will cover such subjects as:
