Quality System Procedure 07 – Start Up Review Meeting

This procedure covers the proper handover of documents from the Estimating department to the Project team, so that no details are ‘lost in translation’.

A specific agenda with fifteen items listed is reviewed covering such things as:-

  • The project team
  • Construction schedule
  • Purchasing information
  • Documentation

This meeting should be minuted to record all those present and provide a record for the future.

All key members of the project team should be in attendance to understand the scope of the job and also managers from estimating, purchasing, EHS and surveying departments where possible.
