There is a new padlock on the market called “Tapplock”, which should do away with all of those delays encountered when someone has lost the keys.
It works on the same principle as our new timeclocks and uses a biometric reader to verify your fingerprint.
With your finger acting as the key and the fact that you can preset up to 500 people to be able to open each lock, you can set up your crew with exclusive access to this lock and never hear anyone say…
“I couldn’t find the keys” again.
Cost of each lock at €70 approx is a little pricey but potential savings could outweigh this in a short space of time if your crew has a history of lost time in this area.
We have bought a couple of these locks to trial and will keep you all posted on the feedback over the coming months.
